We are currently looking for a Full Time Healthcare Facilities Sustainability Coordinator to join our Area of Healthcare Facilities team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Provides guidance and oversight to the CNDH Construction, Planning and Maintenance department. This position has the responsibility for planning, administration, and management of all BEMAR (Backlog of Essential Maintenance, Alteration, and Repair). This position has responsibility of tracking and documenting 105(l) between IHS and CNDH and all Department of Health Energy cost through Energy Star. Additional duties include applying for the Recycling Education and Outreach grants and analyzing and tracking LEED status in all Department of Health projects.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes and manages the Backlog of Essential Maintenance, Alteration and Repair (BEMAR)
- Plans, organizes and manages current and future 105(l) documents
- Updates IHS documentation as buildings components and systems wear out and as they are replaced
- Manages all activities in tracking and reducing greenhouse gas levels including EV charging stations
- Updates all utility cost and consumption in Energy Star data base, to track the energy efficiency that each building is operating
- Works with Engineering on potential changes or projects that could increase the rating and add those projects to BEMAR
- Ensures new buildings are added into Energy Star and adds monthly entries into the system
- Ensures new buildings are added to either BEMAR or 105(l)
- Tracks and maintains LEED status in all CNDH buildings
- Applys for Recycling Education and Outreach grants
- Reviews and remains current on State and Federal regulations and IHS and certifying agency requirements
- Works with vendors on setting up and tracking equipment on utilities
- Plans with finance budget documents and forecasting for facilities
- Prepares spreadsheets for presentation of all projects identified including projected cost
- All other duties as assigned

Experience:

- 1 year directly related experience
Education:
Essential:
- High School, GED or Equivalent
- Bachelors Degree in directly related field
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
Credentials:
Essential:
- Pass general background check
- Standard Driver's License
- Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification
Essential:
- Must be able to obtain LEED Certification within 12 months of hire
