O2 Employment Services is working with a local Dog Boarder/Daycare/Groomer who is looking for an Admin Assistant/Social Media Specialist. This is a full-time, long-term role in Mt. Shasta, Siskiyou County, CA.
Compensation of the Admin Assistant/Social Media Specialist:
- $20- $24 per hour, depending on experience
- Vision, dental, medical offered through O2
Qualifications of the Admin Assistant/Social Media Specialist:
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a pet care environment
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- A genuine love for all sizes, shapes, and breeds of dogs; they are the center of our business!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and familiarity with social media management tools
- Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to multitask, problem-solve, and pay attention to detail
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks, including hands-on work with dogs and cleaning duties
Responsibilities of the Admin Assistant/Social Media Specialist:
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling customer inquiries
- Maintain and update social media accounts with engaging content, including photos, videos, and promotional posts
- Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with light bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and using QuickBooks
- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing their needs and concerns with care and professionalism
- Coordinate with the grooming and daycare teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff members, providing support and guidance as needed
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment, including light cleaning duties and ensuring all areas are well-organized and hygienic
