One of the global freight forwarding companies in the SeaTac Airport area is expanding its operation team. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning about the international shipment and like to work with the customers and people from the different cultural backgrounds.
This position required you to have minimum of Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or International Business, any related field studies.
Also, this position requires you to be in the office Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM). This is about 6 months contract and become direct hired. We will review your work performance and attendance during this introductory period. You will be able to join our group insurance (Medical / Dental ) after 3 months of probation period.
Responsibilities for Entry Level Logistics Coordinator:
- Prepare and process all required documents
- Support the operations department personnel in various roles and responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies
- Track incoming Air and Ocean Cargos (domestic/international shipments)
- Analyze transport costs and prepare quotes for invoicing
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, and customer issues
- Other duties assigned by managers
Qualifications for Entry Level Logistics Coordinator:
- Must be proficient in Excel and Data Entry
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, and another related field
- Proficient in MS Office software, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of logistic procedures and optimization is plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
