About the Positions:
We are seeking highly motivated professionals to join our team leading and implementing our dynamic and growing portfolio related to peacekeeping training and the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI). The primary focus of this position is an anticipated State Department-funded GPOI program to train UN and African Union (AU) peacekeeping forces in Togo, West Africa. We will be reviewing applicants on a rolling basis, so apply early!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of technical experience which includes a relevant blend of military skills, experience, knowledge, and current certifications that will enable that individual to successfully train specific task performance objectives on this project.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of U.S. or NATO military experience in a combat arms specialty [combat arms is defined as infantry, armor, cavalry, engineer, field artillery, infantry, or special operations forces].
- Attainment of military grade of E-7 and higher.
- Experience deployed to an overseas contingency operation since September 11, 2001.
- Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity-building experience in the last 5 years.
- Experience as a senior trainer, military or civilian, to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacity building and unit-level assessments.
- (Preferred) Experience as an instructor in a tactics training unit (e.g., U.S. Army Ranger School or USMC Advanced Infantry Training Battalion) developing individual and collective skills intended to develop technical and tactical proficiency.
- (Preferred) Regional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa.
