We are looking for an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. The candidate will be responsible for chairside assisting to the doctor, wire and aligner changes, taking intra-oral scans, impressions, x-rays, and photographs, sterilizing instruments, charting and providing patient education. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team member. The ideal candidate will be a registered dental assistant.
4 days a week (30-34 hours), weekdays only
Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontists in patient care.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care.
- Maintain patient records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in the fabrication of orthodontic appliances.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and materials for treatment.
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent
- Registered Dental Assistant (preferred)
- Graduated from an accredited Dental Assisting School (preferred)
- Certified in the state of Minnesota (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 34 per week
