Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Perform public health clerical duties including support for various nursing programs in the immunization and WIC Clinics. Assess, collect, and receipt fees at clinics; and assess sliding fee scale according to federal poverty guidelines.
- Prepare charts and register clients for various nursing services.
- Operate various office machines including the fax and copier; answer the phone; greet the public in person; schedule and confirm appointments; and assist them in accessing needed services.
- Perform data entry of client records and general office work at the clinic and/or office site. Ensure departmental program brochures are up to date, on display, stocked, and organized.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others as part of a team. Must have the ability to interact sensitively and professionally with others from diverse cultural, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
- Other tasks as requested or assigned by the Directors and/or Health Commissioner.
Minimum Education, Training and/or Experience Needs:
- High School Diploma
- Must have excellent skills in data entry, typing, filing, public relations, written and oral communication
- Highly organized and self-directed

Hours:· 8:30-4:30 with some evening and weekend availability

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
