Industrial Electrician/ Panel Fabricator Job Description
Carl Eric Johnson, Inc., a manufacturer of custom fluid handling and heat transfer systems, seeks an Electrician-Fabricator for its growing custom equipment division in Lawrenceville, GA. We are searching for a dynamic, self-motivated and detailed-oriented individual to join our team and take on electrical and fabrication responsibilities. General Job Description:
Fabricate custom electrical panels & perform electrical work on custom equipment skids from engineered drawings. Repair & refurbish used equipment as necessary in accordance with customer requests. Assist other fabricators as needed with various industrial equipment build projects.
Job Responsibilities include:
· Read/ interpret engineered drawings/ blueprints
· Build Industrial Electrical Panels from engineered drawings/ schematic
* Comply with UL508A standards for industrial control panels
· Operate forklift
· Operate shop equipment, including band saw, pressure washer, drill, grinding machines, drill press, nail gun, compressed air, welding torch, etc.
· Build crates/ skids for finished equipment
· Maintenance shop equipment as necessary
· Keep work area tidy
· Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications required:
2+ years of electrical experience
1+ years fabrication experience
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
