Program Director Pay & Schedule Availability:
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- Full-time, Monday-Friday (weekends as needed based on facility need)
- Direct oversight of QIDPs and 50 individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in the Hartville area.

Program Director Qualifications:
- Must have a clean background check, drug screen and driving record
- Must have an Ohio driver license
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field.
- Minimum four years experience as a QIDP in an adult residential care facility
- Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with person-centered planning and the Ohio ISP
- Must have a working knowledge of local, state, and federal rules and regulations governing an intermediate care facility for adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities (ICF/IDD)
- Must have a working knowledge of DODD systems, to include but not limited to, DDPs, NICS Admissions, Discharges, Levels of Care (LOC), and Restrictive Measure Notifications (RMN).
Program Director Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Teams, which include clients, family members, and guardians.
- Supervise and provide guidance, supervision and oversight to the programming department.
- Ensure client needs are met, including but not limited to, their safety and well being.
- Ensure data collection is accurate and timely.
- Serve on the Human Rights Committee (HRC), Safety Committee, Incident Review Committee, and any other committee as assigned.
- Oversee all incident reporting for consistency, timeliness, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with GentleBrook's policies and procedures, to include but not limited to, training on behavioral plans/strategies and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all DODD and Medicaid regulations.
- Monitor implementation of delivery of active treatment services, including formal and informal programs, behavior management plans, use of augmentative devices, etc. to assure consistency and provide regular feedback to appropriate staff members regarding active treatment
- Ensure that all personnel involved in providing care to the client are aware of the OISP and that it is used as a tool to deliver care to the client.
