We are hiring a Youth & Family Services Program Manager to join our Seattle team. As a Youth & Family Services Program Manager, you will be an important member of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. Your responsibilities will include supervising clinical and non-clinical staff, facilitating team meetings, maintaining excellence in program and service delivery, and overseeing assigned program services. Additional duties include providing assessment, therapy, crisis response, brief intervention, and case management to adults and families. The pay for this position is $90,000-$105,000 annually, depending on experience.
Requirements: Oversee Youth & Family Services personnel including:
- Hiring for all Youth & Family Services Program roles
- Performance Evaluations, Issues, and Improvement Plans
- Managing staffing plans for all programs
- Coordinating work from home and time off requests
- Work with HR to support medical accommodations and leave
- Monitor Provision of Services to THS Youth & Family Services participants:
- Provide regular and as-needed supervision and consultation to staff
- Engage in collaboration and consultation with managers and direct service staff in other programs
- Ensure proper chart maintenance through regular review of client charts and completion of assigned quarterly chart reviews
- Prepare for audits and provide support as needed
- Provide administrative and clinical oversight
- Supervise WISe Clinicians, WISe Team Supervisors, MST Supervisors, BSK-YFHPI Coordinator and YSS Outreach & Engagement Specialist (10 FTEs)
- Provide necessary competency-based trainings to staff
- Provide reports to staff to support in completing their job duties and monitor their performance (e.g., unsigned services, census, etc.)
- Communicate policies and procedures including any changes in a timely manner
- Maintain THS Youth & Family Service Program, WISe Program, MST Program, BSK-YFHPI and YSS Manuals, ensuring compliance with WA state RCW and WAC, CARF, KC BHRD, NS-MCO/ASO, insurance companies and contract requirements
- Ensures work is performed in accordance with established THS policies and procedures
- Responsible for identifying and addressing issues and seeking solutions that enhance the internal operations of the department, based upon established policies and procedures
- Serve on THS Leadership Team
- Attend monthly leadership meeting
- Attend monthly managers meeting
- Collaborate in the development of agency policies and procedures
- Represent THS in the community
- Attend external meetings as representative for THS (i.e. King & Snohomish County Youth Providers, etc.)
- Serve on committees as needed
- Delivers community presentations as needed
- Delegate tasks to MH Admin Assistant and manage their work duties and schedule
- Report on state of Youth & Family Services Program to CEO directly
- Meet with CEO for monthly supervision and additionally as needed
- Provide program-specific updates on staffing, census, capacity, progress relative to goals and contract compliance
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed as LICSW (ideally), LMHC, or LMFT
- WA state approved clinical supervisor with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in behavioral health, preferably community behavioral health
- Knowledgeable about King County MH stratification model, Medicaid requirements, MH billing processes, and WA state MH treatment and documentation requirements
- Knowledgeable about resources and partner agencies across the greater Seattle Area
- Skilled in essential aspects of the clinical process ranging from screening, assessment, and ongoing treatment, to discharge and including types of treatment including therapy, case management, risk assessment, and care coordination
- Demonstrated experience working with and maintaining positive relationships with a diverse group of participants, co-workers, and community service providers.
- Demonstrate cultural humility in clinical work and interactions with THS staff and external individuals and agencies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new electronic record systems relevant to the organization's operations, including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities effectively
