The Loan Partner supports one or more Loan Officers by ensuring loan files are complete and loans close as scheduled. The Loan Partner will facilitate the completion of mortgage loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact and liaison between clients and Loan Officers.
- Collect customer documentation necessary to complete the loan transaction, such as income documentation, asset statements and initial disclosures documents.
- Analyze customer’s credit and financial scenario and determining appropriate loan product(s).
- Assist Loan Officers with loan pricing options and managing lock expiration dates.
- Schedule all loan officer appointments, including new leads and pre-approval appointments
- Be willing and able to do the pre-approval appointment
- Keeping referral source updated throughout the prepproval process and under contract updates.
- Meet with clients as needed to sign loan applications and disclosures
- Prepare files for submission to processing and complete the necessary tasks within the LOA Submission Checklist
- Work with Loan Officers to confirm all loan package documents for complete accuracy.
- Illustrate excellent customer service skills with clients and applicants to inform them of loan status and to ensure client retention.
- Ensure files move through processing and closing in a timely manner, within the files close of escrow and rate lock period
- Keep up to date on program changes that affect processing and originations.
- Responsible for weekly status report preparation. (Pipeline Report).
- Perform other duties as assigned and provide administrative support when necessary.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in fast-paced environment with many distractions.
- Flexibility, customer service oriented, and a great attitude are a must.
- Must be coachable and be willing to grow and learn.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Experienced with CRM's and updating client notes
- Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have a solid knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and jumbo loan underwriting guidelines.
- Must be able to problem solve and the ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis.
- Proficient in business software including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) as well as Encompass or similar Loan Origination Systems (LOS), CRM Jungo
- Available to work overtime and weekends if needed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have direct or indirect reports.
Education and Experience:
- Must be licensed in NMLS.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of Loan Officer assisting, mortgage processing, originating, underwriting or combination of all aspects.
- Advanced knowledge of loan products and processes preferred.
Physical Demands/ Environment:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week in the office between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
