Inspectron, a Zeiser Subsidiary, is looking for an Engineer located near or within a daily commute to the Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. We are currently providing support on a 4 day work week, Two Shifts, Mon - Thu from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and & 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This is always subject to change based on the client requirements.
The successful candidate will be based primarily at a customer site near that location. The successful candidate will need minimal supervision after training, will thrive in an independent role and be able to communicate daily, both activities and issues, to the technical lead and other support engineers.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customer on all hardware, network and application issues, recommending resolutions to ensure better customer services.
· Be the customer’s advocate within Inspectron to ensure all customer issues, concerns or requests are addressed in an efficient manner and escalated if required.
· Create software and/or hardware specifications needed to comply with new or existing customer applications.
· Maintain accurate customer documents and prepare reports for all issues and resolutions.
· Training of Customer on new or existing applications when required.
· Implement Inspectron solutions to all customers and partners and ensure effective deployment.
· Ensure contractual obligations for clients are met and escalate issues if required
· Provide Preventive Maintenance on required machine components and customer data
Skills Required:
· A demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Windows and Databases (SQL / Oracle)
· Work within a Windows environment to set up networking, hardware devices, and software
· Experience with Data Capture equipment. Bar Code Readers, RFID, Vision Inspection Systems experience would be helpful.
· Strong hands-on technical skills
· Ability to quickly learn new software applications, field test new hardware and/or software, and apply proper troubleshooting skills within a production environment.
· Basic electronic skills for tasks such as measuring voltages and resistances within a circuit.
· Conceptual understanding of logic relays and PLCs
· Basic mechanical skills for tasks such as mounting and building mechanical assemblies
· C# Software development using WPF and Database technologies (SQL Server and Oracle) a Plus
· Applicant must be able to obtain a vendor government badge after a background check has been successfully completed.
Inspectron will provide training on Inspectron Applications and Products.
