- Address any customer concerns or special requests promptly and professionally
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and operate the POS system efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in hospitality and customer service
- Proficiency in using POS systems like Toast or similar platforms
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- Knowledge of bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness standards
