Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Transportation Drivers. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, pharmacies, and other destinations in a timely and professional manner. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients throughout their journey.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients to and from designated locations.
- Assist clients in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, maintaining a high level of safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide information about routes, estimated arrival times, and any other relevant details.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, conducting regular inspections to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and client interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests from clients with professionalism and courtesy.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, trip logs, and client interactions for reporting purposes.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Assist with non-emergency patient transport, including gurney assistance and wheelchair training for clients requiring such support.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a professional driver preferred.
- Certified in CPR and PASS (Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity)
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay Rate:
up to $27 per hour
