Job Description
The Lead Technician is primarily responsible for performing the water mitigation for residential and commercial properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating “on call / emergency response” requirement. Candidates for this position need to be versed in residential and commercial construction to be able to explain the mitigation and contents process to prospective customers in the field. A clean and well-maintained appearance is imperative to ensure that a great first impression is made. This position requires great attention to detail and the ability to perform highly detailed documentation.
- Visit new assignments/jobs, interface with the customer.
- Scope the damages, perform mitigation services, provide documentation to the estimator for approval.
- Develop moisture mapping and create drying-log.
- Be capable of carrying heavy loads of debris, damaged materials, and equipment from the property.
- Focus on dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
- Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
- Assist with warehousing and facility related tasks when necessary.
- You will assist other team members as opportunities arise and be the leader for a team when needed.
- Ability to write estimates in designated software.
Qualifications:
- Restoration knowledge
- Management experience
- Schedule crew to do work
- Experience with Xactimate
- Data entry
- Experience with multitasking and organization
- Quick reaction/response to any situation
- Handling Claims (insurance) from restoration sides when needed
- Speaking directly with adjuster and homeowners
- Project management experience (multiple jobs)
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Experience in face-to-face sales, as this role will be second point of sales
- Flexible schedule and openness to work after normal business hours, weekend and after-hours (when needed)
- Be able to work unsupervised
- High attention to detail and job documentation
- Have a great attitude, be trustworthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality
- Clean criminal history and driving record. Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record check

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
