We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales and Operations Associate to join our team and drive our growth by managing sales and ensuring smooth operations.
Position Summary:
As a Sales and Operations Associate you will play a crucial role in the expansion and success of Universal Rinks and our affiliate's markets. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and coordinating operational logistics. This position requires a blend of sales acumen, operational efficiency, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your goal will be to help our clients realize their vision while ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management and Negotiations:
- Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and outreach.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales effectively.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Track and manage sales activities using CRM software.
Operations Management, Project Coordination, and Quality Control:
- Collaborate with the operations team to plan and execute client projects, ensuring they meet specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinate logistics for installations, including scheduling, staffing, and equipment delivery.
- Monitor project progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during execution.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary materials and services for projects.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of resources.
- Oversee the quality of installations and services to ensure they meet company standards and client expectations.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, contracts, and project details.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and operational metrics.
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, operations, or a similar role, preferably in the entertainment or event industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate complex logistics and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on project demands.
