Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Director to join our team. The SDR will play a crucial role in selling our clinics’ services to physicians and practices within a specified region. This position requires proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic planning to drive referral and volume growth.
This role includes bonus potential on top of the advertised base salary.
Responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate 3PT Healthcare's value proposition and differentiators to physician based referral sources
- Lead rapidgrowth by utilizing Business Development Director's existing physician relationships to educate those sources on 3PT's value proposition.
- Identify and target potential referral sources through various channels, including in-person cold calling and networking
- Work with our Sales Development Representatives to close leads that they generated.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
- Aligns with 3PT's mission-driven approach, recognizing that the ultimate goal of the sales cycle is to assist as many patients as possible in reaching their healthcare objectives.
- Establishes and nurtures relationships with external stakeholders, such as physicians, hospitals, health systems, athletic programs, schools, club sports, and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously optimize the patient experience
- Utilize the Google Suite and PowerBI track sales activities, update customer information, and generate reports
Qualifications:
- Proven sales or business development experience selling healthcare services to providers
- Established provider relationships in both 3PT's current territory and 3PT's growth territories.
- Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals and understand medical terminology
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present and demonstrate products or services
- Ability to learn about 3PT Healthcare and craft & communicate an individualized sales pitch
- Competitive individual that enjoys being a part of a team
- Willingness to learn but also self-motivated with a strong drive for results and achieving growth targets
- High accountability individual
- General understanding and interest in the health care industry & services along with the health insurance environment in Illinois
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in general computer skills
