The Marine Fluids Account Manager is responsible for income generation to Radco through increased sales of existing and new products into the marine market. They will coordinate with Radco’s management, marketing, and technical staff to achieve defined results and goals.
- Develop expertise in Radcolube® product line and marine industry specifications.
- Build strong relationships with industry contractors, shipyards, and distributors.
- Utilize knowledge of distributor networks to enhance Radco’s market reach.
- Execute strategic plans as directed by Radco.
- Close deals to achieve quarterly sales targets.
- Follow up on inbound sales leads (web, email, phone).
- Maintain accurate sales data in company CRM (DataCor).
- Identify opportunities for new product and service presentations.
- Acquire new accounts for future sales growth.
- Conduct sales training as needed for the Distributor-customer on Radcolube® products.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
.• Coordinate sales tasks with administrative support.
- BA/BS degree with minimum 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the marine sector.
- Familiarity with military specifications.
- Willingness to travel extensively to shipyards, contractors, distributors, OEMs, and industry conferences nationwide.
- Experience working trade shows successfully.
- High ethical standards and strong work ethic.
- Technical aptitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals through effective presentation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Experience in building new sales territories and channels.
- Focus on relationship-based selling.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
