Summary:
Bensenville School District 2 is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Middle School Instructional Coach to support our educators in implementing effective
teaching strategies, curriculum development, and professional development initiatives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers to improve instructional
practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ultimately enhance student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to middle school teachers in implementing research-based instructional practices
- Collaborate with teachers to analyze student data and develop targeted instructional strategies to address student needs.
- Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance teacher effectiveness and instructional delivery.
- Model effective teaching strategies and provide constructive feedback to teachers through classroom observations and coaching sessions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum frameworks, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
- Stay abreast of current educational trends, research, and best practices to inform instructional decision-making.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement among staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
- Proven track record of improving student achievement through effective instructional coaching practices.
- Strong understanding of middle school curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques..
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven instructional decisions
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
- Bilingual preferred
Compensation:
Defined by the teacher contract
