Answers, Screens, and Routes incoming phone calls timely and professionally, transferring appropriately. Professionally greets visitors coming in the front entry way answering them appropriately. Announcing emergency codes as required.
Minimum requirement: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Required Knowledge Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with guests, co-workers, etc.; able to work under stress at times; excellent customer services skills; proficient computer, clerical/administrative skills; very knowledgeable in hospital emergency codes, procedures; knowledgeable in hospital functions/departments/services; excellent organizational skills including desk/area organization and cleanliness; switchboard phone skills and ability to handle multiple calls; handle emergency crisis situations with ease; may be required to work irregular hours
