****Head Coaches Needed*****
Position Summary:
Street Soccer USA (SSUSA) is looking for energetic and responsible coaches to lead youth practices and games in a District 9 - SSUSA School league in the Bronx, with elementary and middle school players. Applicants must attend to SSUSA coaches trainings and complete clearance paperwork for the DOE.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing support and leading SSUSA practices
- Review and follow the play book that includes the SSUSA methodology, SSUSA skills and Blue cards. .
- Check weekly email with updates and reminders
- Arriving 15 minutes prior to each practice, adequately prepared for each session including, having a SSUSA Skill chosen and an agenda to implement for each practice (as per the instructions of the Program Manager/Director).
- Staying at the pitch until each practice is completed, equipment put away and dismissal is complete.
- Arriving dressed in SSUSA attire and representing the program with a positive attitude and respect for program participants, program leaders, and co-coaches.
- Providing ample notice to the Program Manager/Director in order to find a substitute coach should his/her absence be necessary.
- Reporting equipment inventory to the SSUSA Program Manager/Director for New York at the beginning and end of the season
- Responsible for tracking and logging attendance for each youth practice.
- Adhering to the SSUSA Coaches Training procedures, guidelines and curriculum, including, but not limited to, the SSUSA coaching methodology and Child Safety Policy.
Qualifications:
- Great attitude.
- Coaching experience required.
- Must have First Aid, CPR Certification.
- Coaching certification preferred.
- DOE clearance preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- have a passion for soccer and working with youth.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
