Successful Candidates Must Have:
· Must have hotel management experience
· Experience with reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports such as P&L, Payroll, Inventories, Budgets, etc.
· Assurance that safety standards, compliance, security, and local applicable laws are adhered to, and this is a focus for both guests and staff.
· Capable of communicating with a wide variety of people, including ownership and upper management, as well as hourly staff. Must be open-minded to a variety of guests and their individual needs. Must be able to determine how to meet these needs with the resources available, while meeting cost and labor goals.
· Must be able to recruit, train, and supervise employees
· A thorough understanding of front office operations, housekeeping operations, and maintenance operations. Includes developing and maintaining cost control and purchase strategies, as well as scheduling for the needs of our guests while meeting labor goals.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Provide leadership for all hotel personnel
· Direct operations to ensure superior guest service, strong revenue, and financial controls
· Oversee and direct proper maintenance of facility
· Maintain franchise standards and maintain high employee morale
· Make selections for key management positions
· Monitor performance and improvement on an ongoing basis to determine efficacy of hotel strategies
· Manage orientation program for all new hires
· Train all personnel and implement performance planning
· Assure guest satisfaction levels are consistently at or above company goals by monitoring comment cards, scores on Medallia, TripAdvisor, Yelp, and other public sites
· Maintain a high profile when serving as a hotel representative
· Follow and promote hotel standards with guests, coworkers, and community
· Maintain a friendly, positive attitude with clients, guests, and employees
· Maintain a high level of professionalism with a "lead by example" profile. Recommend streamlining suggestions, changes, or possible efficiency improvements in any area of the hotel
· Respond to corporate, client, and Hotel requests on a timely basis
· All members of management staff are required to be on “on-call status” and must respond to the needs of the hotel as requested
· Other duties as assigned by regional manager & owners
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
