Role and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer experiences by empowering your agents and policyholders.

- Learn and utilize multiple underwriting guides and manuals.
- Review completed inspections and make decisions to accept, modify or reject an insurance risk after scrutiny of all the required documents and studies regarding the risk involved.
- Process through the system if meets the criteria.
- Prepare cancellation or rescission documents if not an acceptable risk.
- Answer email and phone calls from Agents and Policyholders
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Personal Lines insurance experience preferred.
- Familiarity with customer databases or comparable technology is preferred.
- The ability to relate to customers professionally and courteously.
- A strong interest in using and promoting innovation and technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
- 440, 2044 or 220 Property Casualty License or ability to obtain in 60 days
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
- Remarkable customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office software and Insurance Database utilization
- Ability to build positive relationships with Policyholders and Agents.

- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands
While performing general office duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs). Other demands include the ability to openly communicate with others by talking, listening, and reading, able to lift light objects (<25lbs), and use standard office equipment such as computer, printer, and phone. In addition, there is an occasional need to bend, twist or stoop to open/close cabinets, reach for files or other standard office type objects.
Work Environment
The office environment is generally quiet and, in a temperature, controlled setting with random adjustments in noise or temperature due conversations, unscheduled maintenance repairs to the building or its interior offices or unpredictable situations due to weather or other acts beyond company control. An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule for their duties and/or job responsibilities and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company/department needs, project requirements or customer demands.
