Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Parts Manager to oversee our parts department and ensure the efficient operation of ordering, stocking, and distributing automotive parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, order management systems, negotiation, and customer service within the automotive industry.
- Handling and managing customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
- Ensuring the inventory levels are maintained accurately.
- Making a list of the parts that need to be purchased.
- Selling manufactured parts to the customers.
- Supervising the shipment issues of the parts ordered.
- Managing the team members and delegating tasks to them.
- Overseeing the replacements procedures.
- Assisting the HR department in hiring new employees.
- Providing training sessions to the new team members.
- Resolving any inconsistencies for all the purchase orders.
- Maintaining a strong relationship with the vendors and suppliers.
- Ensuring the customers are provided with excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Preparing monthly and annual sales part reports.
- Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company.
Skills:
- Proficient in data entry for accurate inventory tracking
- Experience with order management systems such as Parts Work Bench Plus preferred
- Strong negotiation skills for securing favorable pricing terms
- Exceptional customer service abilities to address inquiries and issues promptly
- Ability to fabricate or source unique parts when needed
- Knowledge of logistics processes for efficient part distribution
- Expertise in supplier management to ensure quality and timely deliveries
- GM experience a plus
