Lashon Academy is currently hiring for an After School Program Aide Position for the 2023-2024 School year.
The After School Program Aide will facilitate supervision of snack, education, recreation and/or enrichment activities at Lashon Academy for students TK-8th grade. This position reports to the Principal.
Lashon Academy Charter School is seeking positive, team oriented individuals who are passionate about making a difference in a student’s life. After School Program Aides act as a positive adult role model and coach. After School Program Aides must have a genuine interest in the physical and social development of students while providing a safe and nurturing environment for the students they supervise.
Description of Duties-After School Program Aide
- To supervise all Lashon Academy’s participants to ensure a safe and organized program.
- To assist with the planning and facilitation of special projects and events.
- To attend staff development workshops as needed.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications- After School Program Aide
- Experience working in a school setting or youth enrichment program.
- Desire to work with children.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, parents and community.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate sensitivity to others.
- Must be available 5 days a week (Monday-Friday)
- Must clear TB before hire date.
- Must clear LiveScan Fingerprint check before hire date.
- Needs to have CPR certification before hire date.
Schedule
Job Type: Part-time, Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday. 3.5 hour shift between 2:30 PM- 6:00 PM (17.5 hours per week)
