SUMMARY
Responsible to coordinate the support functions and/or departments such as: planning, quality, production, engineering, materials and maintenance to provide satisfaction to our customers through products and services meeting their expectations of quality, delivery and cost at the most efficient and effective manner possible. This position incorporates strategic, tactical and technical objectives to meet current and projected production goals. Responsible for increasing manufacturing profitability, efficiency and productivity through technology, training and lean processes
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
·Proactively evaluate sales forecasts and the company’s business and revenue plans, backlog, and production capacity and translates into a timely master plan which meets financial goals, supports sales and achieves customer satisfaction.
·Partner with Plant Manager and other senior managers to establish long range operating goals.
·Work closely with sales and engineering to evaluate and develop new products. Assist with assessing new product manufacturability and ensure that Production competencies and capabilities are in place for prototype and first of models.
·Maintain clear and effective communication within and among groups. Coordinating with other value stream managers to balance resources and determine priorities amongst value streams.
·Interpret, communicate, follow and execute the management strategy to assure company’s goals established on the TTI’s and KPI’s.
·Provide the all necessary resources to meet the production plans on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
·Coordinate the daily operations meeting with the different departments to identified and solve any restrictions to achieve the production plan generated to support the Revenue plan, On Time Delivery, Past Due Orders reduction, Inventory/WIP.
·Participate and support Safety and Environmental strategy to prevent any unsafe condition.
·Responsible for the efficient and effective management of the value stream to meet the present and future goals related to production operations. Duties include team building; continuous improvements focus on company goals, capital facility plans and coordination of facility maintenance, budgetary, planning/forecasting and reporting facility performance.
·Focus on projects aligned to the company objectives using the Lean Manufacturing - Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve quality andreduce variation on the manufacturing and transactional processes and continuous improvements to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
·Promote the Lean-Six Sigma tools applications such: FMEA, DOE, gage R&R, CPk analysis, Value Stream Map, Continuous flow, Waste elimination, Cycle time reduction, 5 “S”, Kaizen events, etc.
·Support and assist the Internal Quality System Audit Plan to ensure that all requirements are addressed and promote consistency between activities and personnel determining the standards.
·Support and assist the Corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance process
·Work with the Engineering group to develop process flow, standard work, lay-outs, operations method, standard times, routers creation, manufacturing control instructions, tooling- fixtures-poke yokes, equipment needs, required to assure quality and capacity installed to support customer demand.
·Duties include policy setting, communication of business strategy, financial management and discipline, building integrity and credibility at all levels, career development, overseeing and directing performance of direct reports, and administration of the corporate capital expenditures preparation process.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
·Responsible for direction, coordination and evaluation of professional staff and production employees.
·Hold supervisors/leads accountable for meeting goals and objectives and timely performance of all duties and responsibilities. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
·Responsibilities include interview, hire and cross-training employees; plan and direct work; appraise performance; reward and regulate employee behavior; address complaints and enact solutions.
·Provide coaching and development to supervisors, support team members, production leads, and employees to develop and enhance their technical and operational performance. Meets with subordinates according to performance review schedule for formal performance evaluation and goal setting.
·Display effective leadership as defined by the Carlisle IT Model Manager guidelines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•BA/BS degree in business, industrial engineering; equivalent education and management experience may be substituted
•Minimum eight (8) years manufacturing experience in a lean environment with ISO 9000-2001 certification
•Strong background in Lean Manufacturing - Six Sigma methodology and tools applications.
•Experience and ability to coordinate and assist Lean Initiatives related to Supply chain, Order Fulfillment and Transactional Strategies through different Value Stream Map to improve OTD, Lead Time Reduction, Inventory Reduction.
•Strong experience on Capacity Management and Production control activity.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
