Job Overview:
Property Management company is seeking a skilled Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and operation of our building facilities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in l, maintenance management, inspection, and industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities:
· Day-to-day management of the property including repairs and maintenance
· Perform building service and maintenance work as assigned, including painting, patching, spackling, tiling, and staining without limitation related to the proper performance of repair work
· Perform painting required to maintain high-use common areas
· Monitor mechanical rooms to ensure systems are operating properly
· Perform any basic plumbing, painting, plastering, sanding, priming in common areas and apartments or basic electrical repairs as needed per scope of repairs that are the building's responsibility in a timely manner
· Monitor, check and send updates of all new, pending, and outstanding work orders to the property manager by acknowledging receipt of each one
· Perform maintenance, structural or security-related repairs
· Perform daily inspection and cleaning of entire building. Including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of all public hallways and common areas
· Empty trash and recycling bins
· Complete cleaning schedule every day and send to property manager
· Periodically check that all fire doors are self-closing, door handles are functional and in good condition
· Maintain inventory of supplies and order as needed from contracted vendors
· Perform walk-through of buildings, noting any lights, flooring, structural, plumbing, or electrical issues
· Keep entrances, walkways, and stairways clear of ice, snow, and debris
· Inspect vacant units and prepare them for next tenant
· Assist property manager in enforcing building rules and policies
· Other duties as assigned by property manager
· On-call for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial maintenance.
- Ability to supervise maintenance and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with performing basic repairs
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-functioning facility
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $500.00 - $600.00 per week
Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
