Qualifications
- Engineering Expertise: Proficient in both electrical and mechanical engineering principles, with a proven track record of applying them to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Educational Background: Possess a degree in Engineering or demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience in the field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting programs, showcasing a deep understanding of software systems' interplay with hardware components.
- Analytical Aptitude: Ability to conduct thorough root cause analyses, identifying underlying issues and developing effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Identify, analyze, and implement countermeasures to enhance process control efficiency, ensuring optimal performance across all operational facets.
- Electrical Systems Management: Test, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment and systems, ensuring uninterrupted functionality and safety compliance.
- Controls Integration: Strategize and execute seamless integration of control systems into production and quality assurance protocols for designated work areas.
- Documentation Proficiency: Maintain meticulous documentation of work performed, utilizing both written and electronic formats, to ensure comprehensive record-keeping and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborative Project Planning: Actively participate in project planning sessions with the Engineering team, providing valuable insights and expertise to drive project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance system performance by modifying and optimizing existing program codes, leveraging advanced programming techniques to implement efficiency improvements.
- PLC Diagnosis: Proficiently diagnose and resolve issues with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), ensuring their seamless operation within the broader control framework.
- Comprehensive Troubleshooting: Utilize expertise to troubleshoot a variety of control systems, including sensors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), PLC logic, etc., swiftly resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Adaptability in Fast-paced Environments: Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, demonstrating agility and resilience in tackling challenges and meeting tight deadlines.
Physical Demands
This role is primarily performed in a factory and is exposed to the temperature changes. This will result in being exposed to noise, vibration, chemicals/fumes and navigate around factory machines. A portion of this role will be performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
