Order Entry Specialist at Floor Daddy
Job Summary:
Floor Daddy is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring all customer orders are accurately entered into our system and managed through to completion. The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter customer orders into the system.
- Monitor and manage orders throughout the entire process, ensuring timely updates and communication.
- Verify order details, including product specifications, quantities, and pricing.
- Collaborate with sales, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Address and resolve any order discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all order transactions and communications.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and providing order status updates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in order entry, data entry, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with order management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
