Lead Automotive Technician Duties:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including GM vehicles
- Repair and replace automotive electrical systems
- Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements
- Replace shocks and struts
- Welding as needed for repairs
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
- Ensure all work is performed accurately and efficiently, following industry standards and safety protocols
Lead Automotive Technician Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an R&R Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues
- Experience working with GM vehicles is preferred
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and diagnostics
- Knowledge of brake repair and replacement procedures
- Welding experience is a plus
