DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for advising families on building, preserving and managing their wealth. Use knowledge of investments, financial planning, credit and banking to both advise current clients on all aspects of their balance sheet and drive new client acquisition. Part of the local NYC team and supported by an institutional platform that has the resources, specialists and intellectual capital to help advise clients on achieving their desired goals. Drive business results and acquire new assets, both from existing client base and new client acquisition. Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit and banking needs. Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when needed. Connect clients across all lines of business. Ensure that proposed solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short, medium and long term through a holistic goals based planning approach. Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: A three- or four-year Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration, Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Banker, Financial Services, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in International Business Administration, Business, Finance, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Banker, Financial Services, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: UHNWI business development; Direct sourcing, obtaining referrals and converting prospects with portfolios of at least $25 million in market value; sales, including profiling, negotiation, and team selling approach; Asset allocation; portfolio construction and conducting portfolio reviews; marketing of portfolio investments including equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, securities, structured notes, mutual funds, and alternatives such as hedge funds and private equity; marketing of deposit solutions, margin loans and structured loans; advising on basic trust and estate planning alternatives; identifying wealth and succession planning opportunities; and investment banking and commercial banking services to advise clients with complex balance sheets with net worth of $500 million to $10 billion.
Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $170,000.00- $250,000.00 per year.
