Program Leader
General Function:
The position involves providing support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to lead self-directed lives, and providing them with opportunities to develop/maintain skills that enhance the quality of their lives. Assists persons served to maximize independence in activities of daily living and provides supervision of persons served while in the care of staff. Our mission is to ensure that the persons supported are healthy, safe and happy in an environment where they can enjoy life to the fullest extent possible.
Primary Function:
- To provide oversite to the homes during working hours. To supervise Developmental Technicians (DSP) and the delivery of active treatment services for persons served.
- Complies with federal and state regulations, Mur-Ci policies, and procedures.
- Attends all training and meetings assigned by Murci Homes.
- Documents progress and daily reports. Utilizes electronic records system including completing daily shift notes as required by Murci Homes.
- Assures safe transport and accompanies the person supported as needed to medical appointments, outings and events and outings utilizing Murci Homes company vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned by House Managers, QMRPs, or Program Directors.
A cluster consists of three homes of which the supervisor would be responsible for active treatment and operations. Program Leader would also assist facility wide as needs indicate.

Performance Requirements:
Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written directions. Previous supervision experience, is required. Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is required. A valid TN driver’s license is required.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Lifting, pulling and pushing will required. Moderate data entry. Work may be performed inside or outside of assigned group homes. Ability to move from one place to another is required
