Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to nursing staff in a healthcare setting
- Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Assist with patient assessments, including airway management, suture removal, and aseptic technique
- Coordinate and facilitate staff training and development programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license and CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to interpret test results
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Athenahealth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move patients as required for toddler care or other patient needs
- Demonstrated ability to provide health coaching to patients and families
