JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Training Specialist position is to serve as the execution partner for the USBL Sales Orientation Program. This role will partner with both the field and GSC L&D and Field Sales teams to serve New Sales Colleagues to ensure on-boarding programming drives excellence through developing the skills and competencies needed to succeed in the sales facing roles.
This role is responsible in supporting the development of New Sales Associates and Leaders through the execution of USBL on-boarding programs. This important role will provide insight and feedback to enhance training materials and offerings and develop new programs and platforms for learning that is relevant and actionable for the Sales Organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the learning culture at Sysco by your heavy commitment and participation in center-led Sales onboarding programs.
Sales Training Specialists are responsible for executing any/all Sales On-Boarding Programs through impactful facilitation and presentation, consistent assessment of talent, excellent communication with partners both GSC and field, and timely process/administrative completion.
Evaluate, offer feedback and create enhanced and new training materials.
Serve as a SME in sales subject matter areas as part of a working team that creates excellent content.
Leverage communication best practices and technology to facilitate with confidence and enthusiasm, effectively influencing the desired behaviors of our participants of Sales On-Boarding Programs.
Practice excellent written and verbal communication skills while utilizing inclusive language and understanding the topic, audience, potential roadblocks and delivery method.
Effectively model how to put into practice our values and purpose in addition to Key Selling processes and behaviors, technology platforms and various tools and resources.
Understand which behaviors impact positive results and guide leadership to see how learning connected to behavior change impacts results.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience in sales or training role; equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience working in a project, results-driven or field engagement type role is strongly preferred.
