1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Public Health, Psychology, Personnel Administration, Management, Public Administration or related approved discipline; and,
2. Six years of progressively responsible experience in planning and manpower development and training programs, medical or public health administration or other fields related to training, development and manpower analysis, of which at least two years shall have been in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity related to the organization, formulation, development and implementation of such plans and programs; or,
3. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Management, Social Work, Medical Administration, Psychology, Personnel Administration, Public Administration or a related approved field with five years of experience as described in (2) and two years in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity;
4. Extensive knowledge of the principles of training and manpower development programs and the ability to analyze and determine the needs of the Corporation, Network or facility; or,
5. A satisfactory combination of training, education and experience indicating the ability to perform satisfactorily.

Under the direction of the SAVP and Chief Women’s Health Office, the Simulation Program Educator: MMRP is responsible for collaborating and co-leading the operations of the Maternal Mortality Reduction/Simulation Training program. This is embedded in all assigned hospital obstetric units, to focus on identification and response to the top causes of pregnancy-related deaths and poor neonatal outcomes for women of color.
General tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Working with Medical and Nursing Administration and Education at each facility, the MMRP program staff, and system-wide simulation staff, the Program Educator will guide the creation, delivery, evaluation and improvement of the maternal mortality and morbidity simulation-based program.
- Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the collaborative administration of course delivery, including obtaining and issuing CME & CEU credits, where appropriate
- Preparing the simulation environment and overseeing the delivery of courses and scenarios
- Developing courses and scenarios to support learning objectives
- Assisting other Simulation Educators and/or facility simulation core teams at the satellite sites in delivery of scenarios
- Operating various simulation equipment, including "on the fly" changes to support learners needs
- Assist with the revision of courses and instructional materials based on continuous evaluation of data
- Teaching simulation courses and facilitate debriefing sessions
- Install, test, operate, troubleshoot, and repair, or coordinate repair of, simulators and other equipment used for simulation instructional programs.
- Provide technical assistance with delivery of simulation-based instructional programs, including (as needed): operating simulators and/or audio-visual, computer and telecommunication equipment during simulations; editing and storing digital records of simulation sessions and retrieving them for debriefing sessions; helping with room and equipment set-ups and clean-ups before and after teaching sessions, teach and/or mentor facility staff in above tasks to build up the larger simulation community.
- Facilitate technology aspects of teleconference/distance learning sessions.
- Help to manage equipment storage and maintain accurate records of equipment and supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Train Simulation faculty and staff on operational and technical aspects of simulation
- Train, in collaboration with the Simulation Center, staff in feedback and debriefing skills
- Assist with other special projects or initiatives as needed.
- Organize data structures with MMRP Coordinating Managers to focus outcomes-based data.
- Organize and execute publications specific to Maternal Health Simulation.
- Assist system Simulation Programs, with preference to Maternal-Health Units.

Pay: $77,424.00 - $120,000.00 per year
