Responsibilities
- Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations.
- Serve as the first point of public contact for all customer service issues.
- Promote positive customer relations with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to work in a team setting and independently meet deadlines.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Enhance client satisfaction by resolving issues, entering part orders, verifying factory orders, processing, and ensuring accurate shipments with appropriate boxes, labels, and postage.
- Ordering extra parts/components and fabric swatch requests.
- Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Must be detail-oriented, have a positive personal character and possess great communication skills (both verbal and written).
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service/parts is preferred.
- Inquisitive and innovative, committed to finding efficiencies to streamline workflows and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Google Drive, and computer skills.
- Proven success achieving results both independently & through teamwork.
- Demonstrated capacity to adjust swiftly to uncertainty, manage time effectively across multiple tasks, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
Additional Details
- Full-time position 7:30am-4pm M-F
- This is an on-site position.
- Starting pay is $25/hr.
- Opportunity for growth and increased compensation following training and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move medium to large objects weighing up to 75 lbs. using suitable equipment.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch.
