Greater Wayne Community Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization serving its members in Wayne County. We are currently seeking out an enthusiastic individual to become part of our team. Our open position is for a full-time teller, working 35-40 hours/week. We are seeking candidates with a professional, positive mindset that can build rapport with the members of our community.
All applicants will be subject to a background check in accordance with state laws. This position is permanent, with opportunities for vertical growth within the organization. In the near future, we expect managerial roles to be opened in our loan department, branch management and collection department. All three of these departments contain competitive incentive programs. We are motivated to seek out someone who desires to learn and grow.
Job Duties:
- Must be personable and have ability to connect with members of the credit union
- Interact with members in person and over the phone
- Perform deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, etc.
- Provide requested information to members including, but not limited to, loan payment information, account balances, wiring instructions, etc.
- Have ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
- Assist in various responsibilities delegated by managers and staff
- Must be able to work flexible schedule that includes Saturdays
Required Experience
- 1-3 years customer service
- 1-3 years cash handling
Preferred Experience
- Teller/ Member Service Representative
