Job Title: Event Planner- Banking / Financial Services
Location: Ny, NY-10017 (ONSITE)
Pay Rate: $35/hr on W2
Duration: 6-month contract with Possible extension

The individual will apply well-honed skills and adapt procedures, processes and techniques to the completion of assignments.
- What does a “typical” day look like in this role? Greeting and walking clients to conference room, answering phone calls and emails, planning 1 hour to multi day meetings

- Is there an option for this role to go FTE? Not at this time.
- Will the schedule operate outside of normal hours? We require flexibility to work from 7:30AM-6PM and cover evening events until 9PM.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist, tend to, and anticipate guest needs
- Work closely with Bank’s internal partners including the kitchen, security team, audio visual team, events team and facility teams.
- Manage the EMS reservation books
- Organize and execute events and evening receptions
- Assist in surveying guest experience and proposing solutions based on feedback
- Various administrative tasks such as: invoice processing, scheduling maintenance calls with vendors, and order kitchen, banquet and office supplies among others
- Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as needed
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- 2-3 years of administrative and/or hospitality experience
- PR, event planning, or hospitality experience highly recommended
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidate should be outgoing, professional, and able to work well under pressure
- Skills include familiarity with widely used software packages e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic administrative experience such as maintaining files and records, typing, proofreading, answering telephone, coordinating conference room assignments, confirming appointments and/or maintaining calendars
