Role Summary: The Game and Team Operations Seasonal Associate will assist with coordinating and executing game operations for the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. This role will also play a part in supporting operations for the Guaranteed Rate Bowl home team, ensuring smooth and efficient game day activities and enhancing team and spectator experiences. Also, the position will provide robust support across various events, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional execution of all assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the planning and execution of the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl, including team operations and hospitality for the Guaranteed Rate Bowl's home team which includes hosting university administration, student-athletes, staff, and participating conferences, as well as assisting in the oversight of the Game Operations Committee.

Provide support for Team Arrivals by coordinating with vendors and overseeing the text system, ensuring all relevant information is communicated to the appropriate parties.

Compile Guaranteed Rate Bowl team schedules and assist with logistics for team site visits, campus visits and game week events for participating teams.

Assist with planning and execution of Guaranteed Rate Bowl Team and VIP Hospitality Suites, including layouts, rental orders, décor/signage and hotel food, beverage and A/V orders.

Participate in the planning and execution of player and official travel party events and activities.

Update and create materials for Guaranteed Rate Bowl guides and forms for participating teams, conferences, alumni, and guests as well as ESPN manuals for both games.

Work closely with vendors to assist in coordinating event orders and onsite plans.

Assist with the operations of stadium rentals, coordinate with vendors, handle credentials, attend meetings.

Assist with the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure.

Prepare materials for meetings, take minutes and notes, and compile a list of action items.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined, this role requires flexibility to adapt to evolving organizational needs, undertake task beyond those listed, and contribute to projects as they arise, ensuring the team’s objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:

Availability of additional hours during event periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Sport Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications), or currently pursuing such a degree.

Relevant experience in the sports industry and event management preferred.

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, etc.), Smartsheet and JotForm experience helpful, but not required.

Ability to adapt, multi-task and work as a team under tight deadlines.
