Ethos Engineering is a full-service consulting engineering firm looking for an interested and qualified mechanical designer/ design engineer. The position is in Harlingen, TX. We specialize in providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and commissioning engineering services for all types of commercial building projects. Ethos utilizes BIM and CAD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD) in developing coordinated construction documents. Job Description:
Perform all levels of HVAC design including the following:
- Provide competent and appropriate correspondence with all involved disciplines (i.e.: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
- Design appropriate HVAC systems in accordance with current code requirements and sound engineering principles.
- Ability to develop complete sets of fully detailed construction drawings with clear and concise specifications.
- Contribute to an amicable working environment with fellow colleagues, associates, and co- workers to provide excellent customer service and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
B.S. in mechanical engineering beneficial
REVIT experience beneficial
3-10 years’ experience
