Montessori Kids Universe of Mason is seeking an experienced, Montessori Teacher for our school to help us deliver a premium educational experience.

Qualifications:
- Have experience in curriculum implementation including lesson planning and child assessment.
- Posses the leadership skills needed to supervise one or more assistant teachers.
- Ability to plan and implement activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth of the children under her/his care.
- Desire to keep parents informed of the progress of their child on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
Teaching a class of children in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of Montessori Kids Universe including:
- Treating each child with dignity and respect.
- Working towards a normalized classroom at all times.
- Delivering Montessori lessons with the aim of promoting coordination, concentration, independence and order.
- Preparing the environment daily so that it is inviting and appealing to the children.
- Promoting positive discipline in the classroom so that there is respect for each other.
- Keeping records on the children’s development.
- Maintaining a weekly parent newsletter.
- Planning and carrying out conferences with the parents of the children in the class.
- Promoting a good rapport among staff members.
- Ongoing professional development, participating in professional organizations, and seeking new ideas and materials for use in the classroom with the children or to share with other staff members.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- The ability to communicate clearly, both in verbal and written form.
- Current ODJFS Medical and Health & Safety certifications.
