We are a growing roofing company! We are currently searching for a Vice President of Operations to join our team! This position is responsible for the day-to-day production of the company for optimum performance, efficiency, and profitability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform activities related to project - overseeing schedule, material orders, information flow, documentation, and customer follow-up
- Providing Leadership to the Operations and Sales Department
- Contributes to the development of a thoughtful project pre-plan.
- Supervise employees for maximum performance
- Maintain customer relationships and satisfaction
- Manage department finances
- Take lead in the development of the schedule with all vendors, suppliers, building code agencies, and the management team
- Create, maintain, and monitor a look-ahead schedule
- Facilitates discovery and correction of contract document errors and omissions, and problem-solving.
- Takes the lead on productivity issues and monitors work performance and efficiency of company employees in the field to ensure project plans and schedules are followed and the project is executed effectively.
- Handles potential problems, work interference, or schedule difficulties, while assisting in circumventing and resolving conflicts.
- Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and training skills to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.
- Oversee successful execution of all roofing services.
- Collaborate on long & short-term plans for the department's growth.
Job Requirements:
- Must have managed a business with over $15 million in revenue.

Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years, verifiable full-time management experience in residential and commercial roofing strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of residential and commercial roofing, techniques, systems, as well as codes.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to work in difficult or sensitive situations.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency with a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Must be flexible and open to a constantly changing work environment.
- Must pass drug screening, background check
Salary:
The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000 per year. Salary is to be determined by education, experience, knowledge and skill set
