Reports To: CEO Salary: Base $50,000 - $75,000 with Bonus

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful execution of our projects.
Position Summary:
The Project Events Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects / events within scope, on time, and within budget. This role involves ensuring all aspects of the project / event align with the Chambers strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of successful project / event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project / Event Planning and Initiation:
- Define project / event scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with CEO and Stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Project / Event Execution and Monitoring:
- Lead project / event committees.
- Monitor project / event progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Manage project / events budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial control.
- Conduct regular status meetings with project committees and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project / event stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project / event status, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
- Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project / event lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct project / event evaluations and assessments of results.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project / event documentation, including plans, reports, and records. Having a good working knowledge of Monday.com
- Prepare and present project / event reports and presentations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Must have 5+ years of project /events planning and projects / events execution experience.
- Must have sponsorship sales experience.
- Must have program sales experience.
- Must have experience with committee management.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but credit for work experience considered.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong spreadsheet and budgeting skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Monday.com project software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
