Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Team Member at Hartville Hardware, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the efficient flow of products through the warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to receiving, stocking, organizing, and fulfilling orders, contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming shipments of hardware products and verify their accuracy against purchase orders.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure product quality and report any discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Stocking and Organization:
- Safely and efficiently stock products on warehouse shelves and racks.
- Organize inventory to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy retrieval.
- Order Fulfillment:
- Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare orders for shipping and coordinate with delivery services as needed.
- Inventory Management:
- Regularly update and maintain accurate inventory records using the designated systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize products safely.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling, storing, and moving products.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and industry regulations.
