Your job here will be a Field Service Technician, specializing in commercial laundry equipment for a small laundry equipment distribution company. You will travel to laundromats and other commercial laundry facilities to troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on various makes of laundry and related equipment. You must be resourceful, responsible, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Building a healthy business relationship with our customers will encourage repeat business, your positive attitude and work ethic will be instrumental in our success.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment (Vended and OPL)
- Install replacement parts as needed
- Accurately document all service activities, including time and materials
- Accurately document all travel activities including mileage and fuel purchases
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair work to ensure satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with service manager, parts department, and vendors to facilitate accurate work product
- Maintain tools, service equipment, and service vehicle
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical repair experience (Laundry equipment preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical testing tools and or other diagnostic/programing tools
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and similar schematics for troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record REQUIRED
- Excellent English speaking skills
- Excellent customer service skills
