The Clerk's Office is looking to hire over 30 individuals to administer absentee voting at various Madison Public Library locations and other locations citywide. This position will be responsible for providing clerical support and public contact work. Specifically, you will provide general information regarding election procedures and the data entry of voter information. This work is performed under the supervision of the City of Madison Deputy Clerk.
Absentee voting duration: October 22 through November 3. Weekday, evening, and weekend shifts are available for 4 to 20 hours per week.
Online training and hands-on training are required in early October but can be completed outside of normal business hours.
Stated salary is scheduled for a 2% increase in July 2024.
