SUSHI CHEF
We are seeking an experienced sushi chef with 3+ years’ experience to work Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Responsibilities include:
- Handling and filleting raw fish. Preparing and making sushi rolls. Possibility of Nigiri and sashimi.
- Creating and plating sushi orders and coordinating with servers to ensure efficient flow of orders.
- Greeting and interacting with customers.
- Managing food stock and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Pay: $22-26 base pay plus server tip out.
Shifts: Please note we close between our lunch and dinner shifts with an one hour unpaid period in between shifts.
- Sunday Dinner: 2:30-8:30pm
- Tuesday & Thursday Lunch & Dinner Shifts : 10:30am-2:30pm and 3:30-8:30pm
- Friday & Saturday Lunch & Dinner Shifts : 10:30am-2:30pm and 3:30-9:00pm
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Requirements: Sushi chef must have:
- Three years’ experience as a sushi chef
- Good knowledge of various sushi types, nigiri, sashimi, sushi-rolling techniques, and knife skills
- Ability to be efficient and multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Good communication skills and positive attitude with customers and employees
- Self-motivation and ability to be calm under pressure
- Punctual, organized, reliable, and flexible
- Keeps a clean and orderly work station
- Reliable transportation to our location required
