The Time Capsule Project is an international nonprofit initiative, operating across 10 countries, focused on capturing and preserving today's diverse cultural heritage and personal narratives for future generations. Our project uses innovative time capsule installations to create a global tapestry that connects the past, present, and future.
Role Overview:
We seek an experienced Project Manager to oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing project including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling program activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution: Oversee the detailed execution of international cultural preservation projects from initiation to completion. Manage timelines and resources, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams across different time zones to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Act as the point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders, adjusting project scopes, timelines, and outcomes in response to stakeholder input.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all project documentation is maintained according to standards, and comply with regulatory and governance frameworks.
- Quality Control: Implement and oversee project quality control processes, ensuring deliverables meet the expected quality and are consistent with project goals.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor project budgets; ensure financial accountability and cost-efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with experience in international projects.
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in project/program management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to handle complex negotiations and promote collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.
- Advanced proficiency with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
