Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants to join our team who will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support. The first available position involves support to the physician team to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. This includes scheduling appointments, scheduling and tracking labs and diagnostic studies, taking blood pressures, drawing blood when needed, ordering supplies, and other clinical/administrative duties as assigned.
The second position involves support to the physician team, tracking labs and diagnostic studies, managing scheduling of patients, engaging patients and family members, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Completed an approved MA program and hold a valid certificate/license to serve as a Medical Assistant.
2. Experience preferred but not required is three (3) years.
3. Able to work a five (5) day work schedule.
4. May be asked on an as needed basis to work evenings or weekends. Such needs will be made available in advance and may include participation in a patient “meet and greet” program.
5. Ability to communicate in English as a primary language. Other languages are considered a bonus.
6. A willingness to be an active member of the medical team.
7. Veteran (Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, Retired, USPHS, or Honorably Discharged) memberswill be given a higher priority for employment.

Job Summary
- Assist care for patients in the outpatient/skilled nursing facility/nursing facility setting.
- Develop long-term, rewarding relationships with a unique subset of patients.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and recording patient information accurately.
- Educate and provide support to patients regarding medications, treatments, and physician instructions.
- Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Coordinate with medical facilities or specialists for patient referrals.
- Work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday – day shift
- 40 hours per week
