Data Entry Clerk, is responsible for inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases. Their duties include inputting data from paper documents into digital databases or spreadsheets, updating statuses of customer projects and double-checking their work to make sure they inputted data correctly.
The specific job duties and responsibilities of the Data Entry Clerk:
- Utilize spreadsheets to create customer documents and track customer information.
- Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database and spreadsheets.
- Update customer data in databases.
- Work closely with other other staffing to divide tasks and verify each other’s work.
Prerequisite qualifications and skills, which include:
- Organizational skills
- Computer skills: Data Entry Clerk will spend majority of workday on the computer. Ability to use Microsoft Office and Google docs programs required.
- Ability to clearly and efficiently communicate with customers over phone.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with energy efficiency and or energy efficiency programs a plus
- Other duties as assigned/ clerical work such as answering phones, calling customers for information, etc.
- CANDIDATE MUST BE EXTREMELY ORGANIZED WITH STRONG FOLLOW UP ABILITY.
Answering Phones:
- Answer and distribute phone calls from customers, utility companies and future customers.
- Be able to handle high volume when needed.
- Maintain positive, professional, and likeable phone voice.
- Coordinate with service manager to distribute incoming calls.
Remote postition:

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
