Title: Business Development Executive
Job Summary:
Primary function is to act as liaison between the Hospice and the community and patient needs. Responsibilities include development and promotion of hospice programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice, state and federal regulations and quality health care resources.
Salary: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 (Monthly Quota Based Salary)
Reporting Responsibility: Reports to the Administrator, CFO, and CEO
Job Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited college/ university is preferred.
Experience: Experience in the health care industry and have obtained strong working relationships with talented business development personnel and Health Care Facilities within the Corpus Christi Community and surrounding cities to include: Rockport, Alice, Kingsville, Portland, Beeville
Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay and professional public, the Board of Directors and Medical Director.
Essential Functions:
- Development of the key business partnerships within the health care community
- Collaborate with Clinical Managers to continuously improve communication & patient/facility satisfaction.
- Must excel in high pressured environments. Motivate team members to organizational commitment and superior results. Establishes an environment of reliability, trustworthiness and responsibility.
- Track and report the activities and performance to Hospice Executive
- Establishes a public relations program for interpretation of the agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
- Provides counsel to the Agency regarding needs of the community; program development including personnel needs and financial needs.
- Collaboratively develops and maintains policies specific to new programs.
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all local, state and federal laws relating to marketing of the agency.
- Partners with the Interdisciplinary Team to support safe and effective patient/family care.
- Establishes a public relations program for interpretation of the agency’s services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
- Carries out other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
